Moderation that scales

Large communities need smart moderation. AutoMod v2 gives owners and moderators a powerful toolkit without needing to babysit chat.

What AutoMod can do

• Regex and keyword blocks with per-word severity levels
• Invite-link filtering — prevent advertisers from hijacking your community
• Slur detection — multilingual, with custom allowlists
• Spam heuristics — catch copy-paste flood attacks and new-account spam
• Auto-timeout ladder — first offense = warning, second = 10-min mute, third = 1-hour mute, etc. All configurable.
• Per-channel overrides — looser rules in #off-topic, stricter in #announcements
• Staff allowlists — moderators and trusted roles can bypass

Getting started

Go to Server Settings → AutoMod and click Enable. The defaults are sensible for most communities. Power users can dive into the rules editor for fine-grained control.

Audit trail

Every AutoMod action is logged to a channel of your choice. You can also review AutoMod stats from Server Settings → Insights.
