The Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino and John Janssen are now officially married. The couple exchanged vows in front of family and friends at a private venue in Laguna Beach, California, on Friday, October 3.
“We envisioned a dreamy, romantic, rustic chic vibe with earthy elegance,” Bellino, 48, shared with People the following day. “Our venue gave us that perfect mix of natural beauty and privacy, nestled between the canyon and the sea. It felt like we were celebrating in a secret garden by the ocean.”
In the months leading up to her wedding, Bellino dropped hints about the look and feel of her special day, including details about the “amazingly beautiful gown” she would wear.
“No one could have ever fathomed what I’m wearing. It’s not white, and that’s all you get,” she told exclusively in August. “It’s from Modern Bride in Scottsdale, Arizona, and I’m gonna cry when I put the gown on. I’m going to cry on the wedding day when I put it on, just because of how much thought and love went into it.”
Bellino also offered a glimpse of what the wedding experience would be like for her guests.

“This wedding is all about spoiling you guys,” she told close friend and McBee Dynasty star Galyna Saltkovska on the September 25 episode of iHeartRadio’s I Do, Part 2 podcast. “I think that’s why John and I are the most excited is because it’s just a big party.”
In the months leading up to the ceremony, Bellino celebrated with her closest friends. In September, she hosted a “nearlyweds” party in Las Vegas, and in August, she enjoyed a “non-traditional” bridal shower at Truly Blessed Jewels in Orange County alongside Tamra Judge, Jo De La Rosa, and other friends.
Bellino and Janssen — who previously dated Real Housewives of Orange County alum Shannon Beador — first sparked romance rumors in December 2023 after being introduced through mutual friends. They later made their official red carpet debut in March 2024 at the DirecTV Oscars Viewing Party in Los Angeles.
Initially, Bellino admitted she was hesitant to make their relationship public, but ultimately, she didn’t want to hide her happiness with Janssen.
“I was a little bit nervous, but it’s because we’ve been so judged by our relationship,” Bellino told at the time. “It started as a friendship, formed into more, and here we are. [And] social media really can be very evil. So it’s been a lot, but now we just finally decided we’re taking the bull by the horns and going full force.”
Despite outside criticism, Bellino and Janssen focused on each other and their family.
“To the haters, I feel as if I always looked at John and we would be staring into each other’s eyes, crying, both of us, distraught by how much we were hated for a love story that’s actually pretty powerful, impactful and amazing,” Bellino told in August.
“We would just say, ‘Time will show. Stand the test of time.’ And what is marriage? Standing the test of time. Because guess what? If you can find love and still build on everything when you are at rock bottom and the most hated and come on top? That’s because it’s a real and true story.”
