Taylor Swift is opening up about whether she plans to tour again for her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl.
“No,” Swift, 35, told BBC Radio 1’s Greg James when asked if she had the “itch” for another tour “soon” during an interview on Friday, October 3. “I’m going to be really honest with you, like, I am so tired. When I think about doing it again … because I would want to do it really well, again.”
Swift wrapped her record-breaking Eras Tour in December 2024, completing 149 shows over nearly two years. “I had so much fun on that tour,” she told James. “It was obviously the most exhausting challenge ever, physically.
I’ll never forget what I saw. I could see everyone from the stage. I don’t think they know that — I have incredible vision. I could see miles past [in] the stadium. I could see their experience and their joy, and that fed me, fueled me, even when I was exhausted and tired.”

Despite the positive experience, Swift admitted she doesn’t miss the grueling schedule of the tour, which took her across five continents with performances lasting over three hours each night. “I’m so good right now,” she said.
“Like, my joints are good. I have hobbies again! I could only do the Eras Tour when I was on the Eras Tour. That was just two years of having no other hobbies.” She added, referencing her newfound downtime, “So now I have hobbies again,” including a recent appreciation for baking sourdough.
Swift released her 12th studio album on Friday, which features several nods to her fiancé, Travis Kelce. On the track “The Fate of Ophelia,” she sings, “I heard you calling / On the megaphone / You wanna see me all alone,” seemingly referencing Kelce, 35, who famously tried to win her over in July 2023 before they began dating.
At the time, Kelce revealed on his New Heights podcast that he attended the Eras Tour and even attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it. The couple began dating later that summer and announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post in August.
“I appreciate everybody that reached out and sent something and all the posts and all the excitement that’s been going on,” Kelce said during a September episode of the podcast. “It’s been really fun telling everybody who I’m going to be spending the rest of my life with.”
