David Harbour portrays a father figure to Millie Bobby Brown’s character in the popular Netflix series Stranger Things, but according to a new report, their off-screen relationship was reportedly far from friendly.

It is claimed that Brown, who plays Eleven in the show, accused Harbour, who portrays Chief Jim Hopper, of harassment and bullying.

The report states that Harbour was subjected to an internal investigation following Brown’s complaint. The publication also noted that the allegations did not involve any sexual misconduct.

“Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season,” a source told the newspaper. “There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.”

The source added, “Netflix will never comment on an internal investigation, but the fact they’ve not denied it speaks volumes.

Stranger Things helped put Netflix on the map. Millions of fans around the world have been anticipating the finale. No one wants anything to take attention away from that.”

Brown had a personal representative present on set during the filming of the show’s final season, the first part of which is set to premiere on Netflix on November 26.

Earlier this month, Harbour made headlines for a different reason after his estranged wife, Lily Allen, released her fifth studio album, West End Girl, on October 24.

The album delves into themes of relationship breakdowns and infidelity, leading many fans to speculate that some of the lyrics were inspired by Allen’s split from the Stranger Things actor.

Allen clarified that while some of the stories on the album reflect her own experiences, not all of them are directly autobiographical.

“I don’t think I could say it’s all true, I have artistic license,” she explained. “But yes, there are definitely things I experienced within my relationship that have ended up on this album.”

Back in 2018, shortly after Stranger Things premiered, Harbour expressed concern about Brown’s rapid rise to fame at just 13 years old. “I try to protect her as much as I can,” he told at the time.
