The Witcher, which has recently premiered its fourth season on the streaming service, chose a number of scenic British spots for its filming requirements.
In this most recent season, the role of the lead character, Geralt, has been assumed by Liam Hemsworth, who has taken over from Henry Cavill. The narrative finds the characters traveling to more distant and enchanting new territories.

Netflix viewers in Cornwall will be pleased to find out that a segment of The Witcher’s fourth season was also shot at a historic estate in Cornwall, as reported by Cornwall Live.
Cotehele, one of the most attractive estates belonging to the National Trust and located near Calstock, was converted into a stunning medieval setting for the grand fantasy series.
Based on information from the Bude and Stratton Post, the Cotehele site welcomed a team of more than 300 cast and crew members over a two-week span in May 2024.
Several areas from the show’s Continent were recreated at this location, with Cotehele Quay and the Edgcumbe tea-room being altered to represent Yargua Village Quay.
Additionally, Retainers Court was also transformed into Cintra, a key fortress within the Nilfgaardian Empire.
Other locations reported to have been used for filming encompass the Crystal Grotto at Painshill Park in Surrey,
The official Netflix synopsis for The Witcher season 4 states: “After the shocking, Continent-altering events that close out season three, the new season follows Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri who are faced with traversing the war-ravaged Continent and its many demons apart from each other.
