Edwin Arroyave is stepping back into the dating scene following his separation from Teddi Mellencamp. “I am dating someone, yeah,” Arroyave, 48, revealed on the Tuesday, October 14 episode of iHeartRadio’s The Ed’s podcast. “It’s pretty serious.”
Although Arroyave chose not to share more details about the woman he’s seeing, guest Joe Gorga lightheartedly suggested that he take his new partner to Las Vegas for a night of comedy when Gorga performs at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club during BravoCon in November.
“I’ll put you in the front row for the show,” said Gorga, 51.
“OK, front row, you got me. Now you’re speaking my language with front row,” Arroyave joked with a laugh. “Maybe I will take her to Vegas. I was actually thinking about that.”
Mellencamp, 44, filed for divorce from Arroyave in November 2024 after 13 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and Arroyave continue to coparent their three children, Slate, 13, Cruz, 11, and Dove, 5. Arroyave is also the father to 15-year-old Bella from a previous relationship.
Arroyave’s dynamic with his estranged wife shifted even more earlier this year when Mellencamp revealed in February that she had been diagnosed with stage IV melanoma, which had spread to her lungs and brain.
Following treatment, Mellencamp shared on the October 3 episode that her latest scans showed no detectable cancer, though she will continue immunotherapy for now.

“It’s been a crazy year for us,” Arroyave reflected on his most recent podcast alongside cohost Eddie Judge. “First came the separation. Then we found out about the cancer about five months after that. The cancer came, and we put a stop to [our divorce] until we figured that part out. Her health comes first.”
He also mentioned that he still lives with Mellencamp “90 percent of the time,” in part to ensure “she’s taken care of and the kids are taken care of. And then I go back at the end of the night to my other house.”
“We’re going through it,” Arroyave added. “But we just got some great news last week.”
Mellencamp, who has also begun dating again since filing for divorce, has expressed her gratitude for Arroyave’s continued support. In a story published this past April, she acknowledged how their relationship had evolved during a difficult time.
“I’m really lucky that Edwin, with whom I was in the middle of a divorce, and I put everything on hold. It wasn’t really the time to be fighting over emails,” she said. “He’s been extremely kind and has been helping with the kids. That’s made things a lot easier.”
Mellencamp added, “He’s been there for me a hundred percent, he’s been there for the kids, and we’re back to laughing. We call it the ‘Divorce Chronicles.’ And I want to talk [to him] about the kind of girls [he’s] going to marry … because if these people are going to take care of my kids, this is what I want, and this is the definition of what I don’t want.”
