Delete your account
You can delete your Kaisuki account at any time. You do not need to ask permission and you do not need to give a reason.
In the app — takes a minute
- 1. Open Settings → Account.
- 2. Scroll to Delete account.
- 3. Confirm. The account is scheduled for deletion immediately.
Can't sign in? Email us
You do not need the app, or access to your account, to have it deleted. Email [email protected] from the address on the account, with the subject Account deletion request.
Include your username if you remember it. If you no longer control the email address, say so and we will ask for something else that proves the account is yours — we will not delete an account on the word of someone who cannot show it belongs to them, because that would be a way to delete other people's.
We reply within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days of confirming it is your account.
What gets deleted
- Your profile
- Username, display name, avatar, banner, bio, pronouns — deleted.
- Your messages
- Removed from every server and DM you sent them in.
- Your email and password
- Deleted. We keep no copy to re-identify you.
- Cosmetics and Kikkō
- Deleted with the account. Kikkō has no cash value and is not refundable.
- Servers you own
- Transferred or deleted — tell us which when you ask, or we delete them.
What we keep, and why
- Moderation records
- If your account was banned or reported, we keep the record and the reason. Deleting an account cannot be a way to erase a ban and return under a new one.
- Legal and financial records
- Where the law requires us to keep something — a report to authorities, a payment record — we keep only that, for only as long as required.
- Anonymous aggregates
- Counts that no longer identify you (how many people used a feature) stay. They cannot be traced back and cannot be un-aggregated.
