Notifications

Notifications are tuned to reach you for what matters and stay quiet otherwise, with per-server and per-channel control plus native push on your devices.

Mentions & @everyone

Direct @-mentions always notify you. Wide pings like @everyone and @here are restricted to members with permission, so they stay meaningful.

Per-target mutes

Mute an individual channel or a whole server, choose whether to silence everything or only suppress non-mention noise, and set it for a duration or until you turn it back on.

  1. 1Right-click a server or channel and choose Mute.
  2. 2Pick a duration (e.g. 15 minutes, 8 hours, or until you unmute).
  3. 3Choose all messages or mentions-only.

Push & PWA badge

Enable push notifications to get pinged even when Kaisuki is closed. When installed as an app, the icon shows an unread badge count.

Desktop, sound & email

Fine-tune how you're notified: desktop pop-ups, notification sounds, and email alerts can each be turned on or off in settings.

Inbox & mark-as-read

The notification bell collects your mentions and activity in one inbox. Mark a channel, a whole server, or everything as read to reset your unread state.
